Dan,
I see you are following my tweets. After examing your bio and all of your myriad off site links I am left wondering if one were to retain your services in order to “maximize their potential”, to what website would you direct them?

Hey, Dan… you also just started following me on Twitter. Interesting stuff here on your site! Being a technologist my entire life: recorded records to tape on the family stereo at 3, started programming in Basic at 5, advanced class ham radio operator by 12, chairman and coordinator of amateur radio field day exercise by 12 been a system or network engineering team member, manager, or leader my entire career since high school… I find your work and blog very interesting.
Always wanted to visit Tennessee… I did a 23 page state report on Tennessee mostly on my Commodore 64 in fifth grade. Hopefully those TVA dams are holding up better than some of ours are up here.
Thanks for supporting scouting. I didn’t make it all the way to Eagle due to family issues and life changes that definitely varied my focus. Not to mention it can be pretty engaging which makes it hard to fit in with all the ham radio and computers and music and stuff I was into. But my family and I are proud of our many Eagle Scouts and Scouts in general. Cub Scouts / Boy Scouts was an extremely positive influence in my life and is an organization I strongly endorse.
Anyway, just thought I’d introduce myself and say hello. I work in Bellevue, WA and I live in Seattle, WA so if you’re ever in the area and want to get a bite or say hi, let me know!

Carl,
Thanks for the note-I have a lot of ‘geek’ left in me and I am fascinated by those who have an interest in technology as well as those who stick their necks out to make a business out of what they know.
Keep in touch!

I’m going to coat-tail on what “Very Evolved” said… The way you connect to your audience is… Know who you are writing to. You need to pick a Target Audience and stick to them. You wouldn’t write to an audience of 14yr olds the same way you would write to an audience of 60yr olds.
