Job seekers resign themselves to relocating for work | tennessean.com | The Tennessean.

This article appeared in the Sunday edition of the Nashville Tennessean on December 20, 2009.  It talks about how many who are currently unemployed are looking out of their current areas for work.  While this is certainly a fact, I point out that many people are still choosing to not relocate in order to preserve their family and lifestyle versus their economic status.  While not everyone can make this choice, we have seen many turn down solid job offers this year so that they would not have to uproot their families to different parts of the country.

I will watch with interest as the job market returns to a more normal state (hopefully) in 2010.

What would you do?  Would you relocate to another city, state or country for the right job?

Would you move away from your current city for a job?
