Your what we need list is what has been the focus for years. Less oversight and loose regulation led to lies, deceit, poor decisions and bad investments of the countries finances. That led to a major collapse in our countries economy... not just a downturn. I understand economies are cyclic but we aren't talking about a cyclic downturn, we are talking total collapse.

Housing markets were crippled by over-building and pathetic lending practices all to continue to shore up profits.

The financial sector crumbled under shady dealing, poor investment, and downright lies as business fudged their books to appeal to investors.

The economy we are experiencing today is a cyclic occurrence but it is severely worsened by the fact that actions were done without transparency and just plain stupidity.

Sorry if I am less than fond of less regulation right about now.

Also, if you bipartisanship and politicians who work together for the good of the country then it starts with you and me. We must be willing to be bipartisan, we must be willing to expect bipartisanship and we must vote for bipartisanship.

Voting yes or no just because you are in a certain party should not be acceptable at any time.

Where is the business plan, case study, risk analysis for all the $$ the tax payers have invested to bail everyone one out. To many people are unemployed while those who bring least value added get biggest pay and benefits. Reward those who get the job done the best, quickest, and sustain it.

Just my thoughts - I have seen the red tape, it is needed to keep things fair - but one or two sentences could replace volumes and thus open more business ops to more businesses.

I got one for you, the governor of Alabama has let multimillion $$ no bid contracts.
