Some Courts Raise Bar on Reading Employee Email – WSJ.com.

This article is but one more chapter in an ongoing saga that will continue to unfold.

The PC, in combination with the ‘Net and Social Media, are redefining just what is “personal” and what is “corporate” and this will be defined and redefined over the coming years.

More  workers will begin to work remotely, only muddying the waters of this river more.  It will soon be hard to deterermine what is personal and what is business.

Is it based on the time of day?

Is it based on the equipment used?

Is it based on the network used?

Employers and employees both need to keep their eyes and ears open  when determining what to say or type, where to send it and how to share it.
